CHURCH HILL – Joyce Savannah Davidson, 69, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Joyce was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and attended Valley View Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Davidson; parents, Jim, and Alice Hickman; son, Tracy Davidson; several brothers and sisters.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Tommy Davidson (Shelley) and Terry Davidson (Melissa); daughter, Jennifer Tipton (Joseph); several grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Larry, Harvey, and Jerry Hickman; sisters, Alice Ann Ketron and Sue Simms; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Leroy Davis officiating. A graveside service will be h
\eld at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at McPeek Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:00 AM to go in procession. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
