Thelma (Nancy) Hickman, age 71, passed away Sunday (12/16/18). She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all. She was preceded in death by a loving granddaughter, Jessica Manis; parents, Earl and Cecil Greer; sisters, Barbara (Sis) Cox; niece, Paula Manis; nephews, Brody Greer, Joseph Cox, and Zack Livesay; and father of her children, Herman Hickman.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia and Anthony Housewright; sons, Marty Hickman, of the home, Ron and Wendie Hickman, Doug Hickman; sisters, Betty and Dewey Manis, and Mildred Greer; brother, Wayne Greer; grandchildren, Jacob, Weston, Landon, Sarah, Amber; great grandchildren, Hayden, Khloe, Willow, Sadie, Jaden, Sanoa, Kyden, Zachary, Brayden, Kaylee; and beloved companion, Chachi.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastors Billy Linkous and Heath Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Homeward Bound. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at McPheeters Bend Cemetery.
